Crawter's Brook

Visitors to Crawter’s Brook can walk around the perimeter on the rough pathway. The brook flows through the site with picnic benches on the mown grass area.

Ewhurst Wood is the remnant of an area of ancient woodland and is a Site of Nature Conservation Importance.

Goffs Park Nature Conservation

This urban site has formal parkland areas, a small golf course and semi-natural habitats with a mixture of grassland, woodland, a large pond and hedgerows, providing habitat for a good range of wildlife.

Grattons Park Local Nature Reserve

This site is protected by Fields in Trust and is managed as a Local Nature Reserve with broad-leaved woodland, a stream and meadows.

Hawth Wood

This 10-hectare site is an area of mixed deciduous woodland. A number of pathways lead through the woods and there is a circular trail leading from the Hawth car park.

A small but valuable wildlife site where the Gatwick stream flows to the south and the Worth Way runs along the north end.

This site has a marshy flood meadow, pond, brook and broad-leaved woodland with a pathway through the woodland and informal paths through other areas.

The Local Nature Reserve has a large area of grassland, scrub, and birch woodland situated on a hill top with views to the North Downs.

The Local Nature Reserve comprises blocks of conifer and broad-leaved woodland plantation, together with an area of heathland and acid grassland.

This valuable wildlife site located in Furnace Green contains important flood meadow, wetland, hedgerow and woodland habitats.

Willoughby Fields Local Nature Reserve

This 20 hectare site, formally a lowland farm, includes the sports pitches of ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Rugby Club, two streams, two large unimproved meadows and extensive hedgerows.

Woldhurstlea Wood

Woldhurstlea Wood, a Site of Nature Conservation Importance, is situated in Gossops Green. A sunken track runs through the woods to Broadfield Brook, and there are also several rough tracks.

The large pond in Worth Park, Pound Hill, has a mixture of marginal and aquatic vegetation with a fringe of native and exotic trees and shrubs, a wooded island and a rocky island.

Worth Way

This former railway line runs for seven miles between Three Bridges and East Grinstead, passing through ºÚÁÏÍøÕ¾ Down. It provides an important refuge and dispersal route for wildlife as well as offering the opportunity for walking, cycling and horse riding.
